THE SUNDAY SALON — EVENTS, BOOKS, & A BLOG MAKEOVER — MAY 29

Welcome to our Memorial Day edition of The Sunday Salon, where we gather around (virtually) and check out what everyone else is reading, writing, and blogging about.

This past week has been an exciting one for bookish types.  Some went to BEA, and we’re looking forward to their stories.  Others, like me, participated in Armchair BEA.

Throughout the week, we had special posts in which we shared all about books and blogs.  My Armchair events are on Curl up and Read.

Earlier today I got a “spark” of creativity (or enthusiasm or maybe obsessiveness) and did a Blog Makeover Here.

I then watched a movie I’d received from the Amazon Vine program, which is edgy, a bit out there…and well, here’s the review at Going out on a Limb.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this week.

Books Read & Reviewed – Click Titles for Reviews:

1.  Once Upon a Time There Was You, by Elizabeth Berg

2.  Save Me (e-book), by Lisa Scottoline

3.  Drinking:  A Love Story, by Caroline Knapp

4.  Exposure (e-book), by Therese Fowler

****

Wow, what a week!  And with a long weekend ahead, there are bound to be exciting adventures in store for us.  I plan to keep reading, watching some movies, and just vegging out…

What about you?

  1. Looks like you got a lot of reading done this week! I also like the new design!

The rest of my weekend entails just doing some reading, relaxing, and maybe a bit of housework, but we’ll see about that! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier today!
