    I can’t believe the this series began for Sara, way back in 1982 and I am wondering if, with some 20 books under her belt, I am going to be a bit too late to play catch-up. I am wondering therefore, if you think the books can be read as stand alone stories, I shall be waiting to see what your take might be on that scenario?

    I have only read one Sara Paretsky book, but I own most of her V.I. WARSHAWSKI books. I bought them years ago through a really cheap e-Bay lot. You’ve reminded me how much I want to read her books. I hope you have a great weekend, Laurel-Rain!

    Ooh that sounds very intriguing but also like there’s a lot going on! Tackling racial tension in a book these days can be difficult, so I hope this one nails it for you while keeping the thrills going! Thanks for dropping by my post and I hope you had a lovely weekend 🙂
