Today I’m participating in Sam’s WWW Wednesdays. Here’s how it works:
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?
***
Currently Reading:
I am loving the intense and twisted Behind Closed Doors, by B. A. Paris, the kind of book that is impossible to put down. But I finally had to get some sleep last night. I will be finished today, and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
The perfect marriage? Or the perfect lie?
“A hair-raising debut, both unsettling and addictive…A chilling thriller that will keep you reading long into the night.” —Mary Kubica, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of The Good Girl
“This is one readers won’t be able to put down.” —Booklist (starred review)

Just Finished:
Yesterday, I finished The Excellent Lombards, by Jane Hamilton (click title for my review).
A four-star read for me, it was not my favorite from this wonderful author, but I enjoyed it anyway.
***
EAGERLY ANTICIPATING:
Fractured, by Catherine McKenzie, is a book I’m eager to get for my shelves. I’ve been noticing it around lately, and its release date of October 4 is right around the corner.
I’ve read all of the author’s previous books, so I’m sure to enjoy this one, too.
Synopsis: Welcome, neighbor!
Julie Prentice and her family move across the country to the idyllic Mount Adams district of Cincinnati, hoping to evade the stalker who’s been terrorizing them ever since the publication of her bestselling novel, The Murder Game. Since Julie doesn’t know anyone in her new town, when she meets her neighbor John Dunbar, their instant connection brings measured hope for a new beginning. But she never imagines that a simple, benign conversation with him could set her life spinning so far off course.
We know where you live…
After a series of misunderstandings, Julie and her family become the target of increasingly unsettling harassment. Has Julie’s stalker found her, or are her neighbors out to get her, too? As tension in the neighborhood rises, new friends turn into enemies, and the results are deadly.
