NEXT WEEK ON THE BLOGS: (Titles/Covers Linked to Amazon)
Since I have a lot of review books to get through, I’m going to ease into it with one review book this week, and two books that I simply MUST read soon!
1. The Appetites of Girls, by Pamela Moses (Vine review; currently reading)
The Fault in Our Stars (e-book), by John Green
The Headmaster’s Wife (e-book), by Thomas Christopher Greene
And if I do extremely well, I might tackle this one from my TBR pile:
The Miracle Inspector (e-book), by Helen Smith – I know, I had planned to read it last week, but my moods got in the way!
So that’s what my week will probably look like…and last week looked exactly as described. What are you planning? What did you accomplish?

You and I both had big book weeks. Several of your titles look appealing, including The Headmaster’s Wife, Three Wishes, and The Wrong Girl.
Have a good week.

So many good looking books there. I am happy to have the kids home for the summer, but the heat is just awful. I don’t go outside unless I really have to. Happy reading.

I’m looking forward to summer and trips to the beach, although the Great Lakes are still cold right now due to the rough winter. We’re having 80’s weather now after a cool spring- so it feels like summer has arrived.
The girl on the cover of Keep Your Friends Close scares me a little LOL. And We were Liars sounds good too…

Yes, I think that girl on the cover will be a very scary character. Judging from Daly’s last book, What Kind of Mother Are You? (sounds bland and domestic, right? Wrong! Very scary), I am anticipating a chilling read.
Thanks for stopping by, Greg, and enjoy your week.

Oh my gosh, Laurel, what a wonderful haul this week! Every title better than the next! I thought you had read Still Alice a while ago, but glad you finally did. I loved that book so much. I read The Wrong Girl recently and loved it, also read the one before it…need to check out earlier Hank Ryan books. I have The Headmaster’s Wife not read yet. I could go on and on, but just want to wish you a great upcoming week!

Thanks for stopping by, Rita…and I read two other Genova books before Still Alice, and even though I’ve had it for a while, I’ve been procrastinating. Probably because of people I’ve known with Alzheimer’s, and have witnessed the devastation to the person and the family…but I’m glad I plunged in. Awesome read!
And I can’t wait to read The Wrong Girl…kids and adoption and secrets. My kind of read! I found it on your blog, so thanks!
Enjoy your week!

As you go into summer I go into winter, and we have just had a few very cold zero degree mornings but then beautiful sunny sky and little wind. We have a long weekend so perfect. The weather doesn’t guide my reading though! I’ve just finished Goodnight June and liked it a lot. Finn and Lady looks interesting just from the cover and of course I’d like to check out Three Wishes.
