  1. The new patio looks nice- enjoy the outdoor time! I love reading outside when I can. Vegging out to Netflix sounds fun- we don’t have that, but maybe we should get it. I could watch so many more shows that way:)

Nice post on Landline too, that sounds a little different from her other books… sound like it’s really good.

    1. It is an adult book, so that elevates it a bit for me…LOL. I do have a copy of her Fangirl, too, however, but haven’t yet read it. Thanks for stopping by, Greg, and enjoy your week.

    2. Greg, Netflix is so dangerous! My husband’s not a binge watcher so the series we watch together we watch an episode a night. But if it’s a series that only I’m watching, I can watch 2 or 3 episodes in a row on the weekends. 🙂

  2. Oh your patio looks really nice and I’m sure you enjoy spending time there! 🙂 You’ve got some amazing books and I hope you’ll enjoy them. Also I need to read Rowell’s books soon. Great post! 🙂

    1. What surprised me about my time on the patio yesterday…it was a bit cooler than I’d expected. We’ve had a lot of heat lately, but this weekend has been breezy. Thanks for stopping by, Tanja, and I’m looking forward to my books, too.

  3. Happy Mother’s Day! Enjoy your patio. We’re almost at the point that we can enjoy ours. I’m painting the wrought iron table and chairs a new color this year – as soon as we get a few non-rainy days in a row 🙂
I really enjoyed Redesigning Rose so I hope you do too!

    1. I am enjoying Redesigning Rose so far, Mary. I am never sure when I begin reading a book from a new-to-me author, but the pace is nice and I’m engaged with the characters. Thanks for stopping by…and I’ll look forward to seeing photos of your newly painted patio furniture.

    1. Thanks, Yvonne…I do plan to enjoy the day. I opened my patio doors this morning, and while the cooler air feels good, I think it’s too crisp to eat out there today. Thanks for stopping by. I love the look of The Apple Orchard.

    1. I do enjoy setting things up on the patio…and yesterday’s breakfast there was great. But it’s a little too cool today. Never mind…having brunch at my daughter’s. Enjoy your week, Katherine, and thanks for stopping by.

  4. Looks like you were busy last week and I am still loving the coffee mug. I’m going to have to find me a set. 🙂 I think I have The Apple Orchard already. I will have to check and see. I love Susan Wiggs writing. I hope you get to enjoy your patio this week.

The Apple Orchard is on my TBR mountain, heard good things about it. I enjoyed Rainbow Rowell’s Eleanor & Park so I’m looking forward to your thoughts on her adult fiction. Have a wonderful week and happy reading 🙂

    1. Oh, that is so disappointing, isn’t it? I have loved Feldman for several years, beginning with her earlier titles. Hope you get it soon. Thanks for stopping by, Sam, and have a great week.

  6. I really like Sue Miller and Susan Wiggs. I’m attracted to The Apple Orchard by Susan Wiggs. I love stories that involve apples. There is a book titled Lakeside News which involved apple country. It’s by Barbara Delinsky, I think. Might have author wrong. It’s been a long time. Happy reading.

Do I see a Rainbow Rowell book there 😉 I can’t wait to read what you think of it, everyone’s always raving about her books but I haven’t read anything by her yet. Will have to get my butt moving.

Hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day.

  8. Breakfast on the patio is one of my favorite things to do!

I read Apple Orchard last year and loved it – which is saying a lot from me because I rarely read romances.

  9. I have been horrible at visiting lately. My doctor wants me to elevate my bad foot more so I am not as the computer all day like I used to be. The good thing is that I am doing more reading. Always know you are in my thoughts even when I can’t drop by.

I hope you have an awesome week!!!
