    1. I love Sue Miller’s books, and it’s been too long since the last one. Can’t wait for this one, either…I’m glad it’s a review book, Mary, as that means I can read it soon! Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Thanks, Greg, and yesterday had just the perfect sunniness, with a breeze, so eating outdoors was awesome. I am looking forward to The Arsonist and Landlines. I’m a big fan of Sue Miller…and enjoyed Rainbow Rowell’s Attachments.

You had a busy week and those are great new books. I still haven’t read anything from Rainbow Rowell, hopefully I’ll get a chance this year. Have a great week!!

    1. I have enjoyed the series by T. R. Ragan….I have read it backwards, though, but it worked out okay. I’ll be happy to finally read the first one in the series. Thanks for stopping by, Peggy.

  4. I love that you call your Kindle “Sparky”. But Laurel-Rain, how do you manage to keep up with so many blogs? I’ve always wondered. It’s all I can do to keep up with one (and the related Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and now Tumblr accounts… eep.)

Anyway, congratulations on a great week and a truly scrumptious book haul, and enjoy all your new goodies!

    1. I alternate posts in the primary blogs, and then occasionally do posts in the “minor” ones. The major ones are this one; An Interior Journey; Curl up and Read; and Potpourri. The minor ones are mostly for fun.

I must admit, Lark, that sometimes I go a while between posts at Going out on a Limb and Chocolate & Mimosas…but I did post something at C & M today. Thanks for stopping by…and I love naming things. Sparky seemed perfect for a Kindle, which makes me think of igniting things. Sparks! LOL

On the Rocks and The Heartbreak Cafe immediately appeal to me just by their covers although I have never come across the authors, must check them out. I don’t know how you don’t feel drowned by books!

And yes, I do feel drowned by books, but it’s a great feeling! LOL

  7. I love Sue Miller, must get a copy. Actually… her books can be dark and a fright but so important!

The cover for the opposite of maybe… adorable. I hope you have a lovely week planned, Mari

    1. My unread physical books don’t take up a lot of space, so I think things are under control…but then I look at Sparky! Recently I had to create more collections there just to have a better idea of what e-books I have waiting for me…LOL

      Thanks for visiting, Leslie.

    1. Yes, I chose two books by Rainbow Rowell based on Attachments, a book I thoroughly enjoyed. And I’m a big fan of Chelsea Cain’s Gretchen Lowell series…so a new series with a new character really appealed to me. Thanks for stopping by, Kay.

  10. Wow!!! Look at all those books! You are going to be busy, busy, busy. I’ve read A Slight Change of Plan by Dee Ernst. I enjoyed that it featured an older main character beginning her life again. I hop you enjoy it as well.

I have to mention the cornflake coffee cup. I LOVE it! I want one. 🙂

I hope you are having a great week!

    1. I am looking forward to that one, too, Gin…and I always feel so cheerful when I use the cornflake dinnerware. I have mugs, plates, and bowls, too. Thanks for stopping by, and I got them at a furniture store that was going out of business.
