Good morning, Bloggers! Grab some coffee, and let’s talk about our weeks.
My blogging picked up this past week…and I also spent some time on my website, getting ready to incorporate my newest book into it. My thoughts have also turned toward Bloggiesta, which is happening next weekend!
Our weather here has turned spring-like, and I spent some time on the patio.

Two review books arrived in my mailbox…and I downloaded two books for Sparky (He was hungry!)
This Dark Road to Mercy, by Wiley Cash (Amazon Vine Book)
True Blend, by Joanne DeMaio (Publicist Request)
Breakfast at Tiffany’s (e-book), by Truman Capote
The Life List (e-book), by Chrissy Anderson
***
WHAT’S COMING NEXT: Titles/Covers Linked to Amazon
My reading did not go as well as I’d hoped, so I still have one of last week’s on the list, and I’m ambitiously adding three more:

The Theory of Opposites (e-book), by Allison Winn Scotch (Mt. TBR Challenge)
Letting Go (e-book), by Belinda Toors (Mt. TBR Challenge)
No Book but the World, by Leah Hager Cohen

That’s my week! What did yours look like? What’s coming next?

You had a very busy week…I think I finished two books but it feels to me as though I am reading really slowly! I have to pick it up…lol!

Yes, my reading has felt slow this week, too. I think the books are just more complex than the mysteries I read sometimes. And a bit longer, too. My eyes get tired! LOL
Thanks for stopping by, Patty.

You did have a busy week. True Blend has such a cozy cover but it sure doesn’t sound cozy. I’d have to be in the right mood to read that one.
Bloggiesta already? That was fast. Good luck this time around.

Yes, we had a Mini-Bloggiesta a few weeks ago; this one is the main spring event.
True Blend, if it’s like the others by this author, is about relationships, issues like friendship, etc. Not cozy, but a nice, feel-good read.
Thanks for stopping by, Bea, and enjoy your week.

I really should participate in Bloggiesta but am trying to cut back on my computer time. I am planning to do a bit of work informally.

What I enjoy about Bloggiesta is how you can do as much or as little as you choose…and you get to visit other blogs.
But yes…you would have to be on the computer some. Hope you find the right balance for you, Lori, and thanks for stopping by.

Looks like you had a good week, so many good books! I have 5 of your choices either on my wishlist or my kindle. I liked your review of Elizabeth is Missing and look forward to the review of And the Dark Sacred Night tomorrow. Are you doing a cover reveal here when you have it for your new book? And what is the title again, so I can put it on my wishlist 🙂 thanks.

Oh, yes, I’ll be showing the cover everywhere, Rita…LOL. It’s called “Interior Designs,” and it’s about a woman who is an interior designer, but whose marriage fell apart; she is now “redesigning” her life. It’s kind of a sequel to Embrace the Whirlwind, as the MC is the antagonist in that book. TMI?
Thanks for stopping by, and my review is now up here on this blog for And the Dark Sacred Night. Loved it!

I’m really curious about Reconstructing Amelia. And I really enjoyed your excerpt of Interior Designs- I like how at the end there Martha is wondering who may be following or watching her. Sounds like she has a lot of things on her plate to work out.

Oh, thanks, Greg…I’m glad you liked the excerpt. I have been “marinating” that novel since 2010, when I started it during NaNoWriMo. Hopefully it will be like fine wine…improved with age. LOL
Glad you could stop by, and I’m excited about Reconstructing Amelia, too.

Fantastic new reads, Laurel-Rain. Most of your books always wind up on my TBR list, and this week is no exception. I’m a little jealous that you’re able to enjoy your patio. I think it will be a few more weeks before I can comfortably sit outside. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Thanks for stopping by, Catherine…the downside to sitting outside (for me) is my allergies. I have to load up with all kinds of meds! Hope you enjoy your reading.
