Good morning!  Today’s post will link up to Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post,  and Book Journey, for What Are You Reading?

**Mailbox Monday is now hosted at the home site:  Mailbox Monday.

Good morning, Bloggers!  Grab some coffee, and let’s talk about our weeks.

This week has been less about reading and blogging, and more about polishing up my newest WIP, Interior Designs, which I hope to have published within the next couple of months.  I’ve been busily excerpting on my Creative Journey blog.…and doing another read-through.  It seems that the rereading is never done, but when I do it after a breather, as I have done this time, I am able to read for flow and continuity, rather than for finding the words.

  1. I wonder where the time goes each month. They fly by quicker and quicker it seems. Looking forward to your thoughts on THEN AND AGAIN by Diane Keaton. She seems like such an interesting person. Hope you have a great week.

    1. Oh, it is hard to believe that it’s still winter…our weather is kind of spring-like here…Knock wood! I enjoy Diane Keaton’s movies, and I’m eager to read the book.

Enjoy your week, Mason, and thanks for stopping by.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Yvonne. I haven’t done any blog tours this year, and have really cut down on Author Review requests, but there are some I can’t resist.

Enjoy your week, and now I’m off to do some more on my WIP.

  2. February is really flying by! Yikes. Best of luck with Interior Designs and The Spectacular Now looks good. Like the sound of it.

Liked your snapshots too, love the pics of Prague and nice family shots. Have an awesome week!

    1. Thanks, Greg….I would love to visit Prague, but that trip will have to wait…until I overcome my fear of flying long distances…LOL. I’m looking forward to my books…and bringing out another of my own creations.

    1. That does happen, doesn’t it? Orange is the New Black in book form was different than the show. I’m curious about Spectacular Now…hope I love the book. Thanks for visiting, Lucy, and have a great week.

    1. Ha-ha…whatever works! Mine used to be on the floor in my bedroom, but now they’re in my office atop a bookcase…and seven really chunky ones are on the floor near the computer desk. My stacks are considerably smaller than they were….less than 40.

Thanks for stopping by, Nise, and enjoy your week.

    1. I have enjoyed Shailene Woodley’s performances in some movies…and also on a show, now done, called The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

      She can play sweet…and bratty.

Thanks for stopping by, Susan, and have a great week.

    1. I’m glad that I have less than 40 books on my stacks now (that I’ve purchased, or won). The review books don’t stick around long, as I hurry to finish them. I stopped doing blog tours, because they only added to my stacks…and the deadlines felt too much like work!

Thanks for stopping by, Colleen, and enjoy your reading.(and culling).

  3. Wife-In-Law looks good, I haven’t read anything by the author. Wishing you will power & good luck with the review books lol, I’m semi-succeeding with it but I also have hundreds and hundreds of books on the TBR stack, a small incentive 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!

    1. Wow, that is a huge stack! I wish you luck with them…but then again, I know that I love being surrounded by books. Enjoy, Teddyree, and thanks for stopping by. Haywood Smith really captured my interest when she wrote about the Red Hat Club.

I’d love to concentrate on my TBR pile but I keep getting requests from lovely authors who have written books that sound very intriguing and of course I can’t resist. 🙂

I can’t believe that it’s the end of February already either. Time flies when your having fun I suppose. Have a great week!

    1. Thanks, Kathy….Rereading can be time-consuming, especially since I’m tempted to change this little bit or that one…and that could go on forever! Glad you could stop by. And I have enjoyed several books by Haywood Smith, so I think I’m in for a treat.

  5. The Housewife Assassin’s Handbook looks hilarious. I’m a fan of Lisa Gardner, too. Actually, I helped her promote one of her D.D. Warren novels a couple of years ago, which is how I was introduced to her work.

I’m trying to cut back on review books, too. Hopefully you have more success than me.

  7. All of them sound like ‘must reads’ to me, I kept thinking when reading your post and looking at the covers ‘yes, that one stands out’. ‘and that one’ ‘and that one’ 🙂 I’ve certainly realised that keeping up with the blog and reviewing digs into your reading time, but I also seem to read with more of a purpose, if you know what I mean. Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Oh, I agree, Peggy. Since I started blogging, I have expanded my reading horizons, choosing books that I would never have imagined before. It’s like a whole new world of reading. Thanks for stopping by.
