    1. I had been eyeing Dark Witch for awhile….and then it was on Kindle for 1.99! So I had to download it. I always like getting in on the first book in a series (or trilogy). Thanks for stopping by, Catherine, and enjoy!

  1. I just finished Dark Witch this week and loved it, BUT will need to read book 2 soon! I hope you enjoy it! My review is going up this week. Life after Life is on my eReader too! I look forward to reading your thoughts. Have a great week!

    1. Oh, good to know, Suzanne….I don’t always like books that are “out there,” but I prefer witches to vampires….lol. I’ve seen such mixed reviews of Life after Life…I’m hoping to enjoy it. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week.

    1. I like Terry McMillan, and I’m hoping I’ll enjoy the story and characters. Thanks for visiting, Vicki…and I haven’t read Nora Roberts in awhile, either, but lately, I’ve downloaded a few of them. Enjoy your week.

  3. I liked your post on risk- taking, I do need to push myself out of my comfort zone when it comes to books sometimes. August: Osage County looks great, both book and movie. And what a cast for the movie! Yowzer. I want to see it now, looks really good.

    1. Oh, I know I’ll want to see it again, too, Greg…I’ll be ordering the DVD. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your risk-taking. A couple of years ago, I joined Shelleyrae’s Eclectic Reading Challenge, and that did take me way out of my comfort zone. Felt good.

      1. I had an advance copy and high expectations. I thought it would be more speculative fiction, and it wasn’t. So yeah, expectations make a difference. Plus, I wanted more answers. Still, the writing was good and I do recommend the book.

  4. I haven’t read any Nora Roberts books yet. What’s a good one to start with?

Life After Life has been on my TBR for ages and sounds excellent.

    Have a great week, Laurel!

  5. I really liked Life After Life even though it was a bit different. It stayed with me for a while after I finished it. Especially a couple of the characters. Hope you enjoy it!

  6. I will have to look at Eron, I didn’t care for Tinkers so maybe I should wait to read a few reviews first. Have you read Tinkers? Did you enjoy it?

Kate Atkinson’s book is on my maybe list, I think I’ve read just one book of hers.

    Have a lovely week!
