Good morning!  Today’s post will link up to Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post,  and Book Journey, for What Are You Reading?

**Mailbox Monday for December will be at Rose City Reader.

We can measure the upcoming hours and minutes until Christmas!  And I am happy to cozy up in my simple festivity with books, more eggnog, and movies.

  1. Happy holidays to you, book and movies sound good. I hope to partake of both during the long break.

I liked your Home for the holidays post, very nice. I have a lot of nostalgia for those shows, as well.

    1. She’s Come Undone was my favorite of his, too, and I’ve been a fan ever since. Some I liked better than others, but he is definitely a writer I enjoy. So sorry about no Sunday Post, but I can understand. Thanks for visiting, Catherine, and have a great holiday!

  2. There are so many books out about wives, this is a new one and intriguing looking. I am curious about this one and one other I read about, The Good Wife. On the same theme, I can recommend A Good Mother.

    1. I am enjoying it, but it’s the second book in a row I’ve read about spousal abuse, and it is making me anxious! Hoping that the characters will make the right choices to extricate themselves from their situations…I’m hoping this wife doesn’t go back to her horrible husband. As you can tell, this issue is quite intense for me.

Thanks for stopping by, Yvonne, and have a great holiday, too.

  3. Hi Laurel-Rain,

What a great week for me and it is still only Sunday. I have already found one great new thriller author to add to my list and now I have found another here, in the shape of P. D. Viner. ‘The Last Winter Of Dani Lancing’ sounds fantastic and has been receiving some pretty impressive ratings and reviews, so I look forward to reading your own review in due course.

I wish you and your family all Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year,

    Yvonne

Hmm I must check out that Nora Roberts book right now! You have so many blogs and read so many books, it is amazing. Thanks for visiting my blog.
May your Christmas season be exactly as you wish! I just got a group of books from NetGalley I had given up hope for, I’d asked for them so long ago! So I am smiling big time. Happy holiday and happy reading!
