WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES: OH, CHRISTMAS TREE!

PicMonkey Collage-updates collage

Good morning!  Today’s post will link up to Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post,  and Book Journey, for What Are You Reading?

**Mailbox Monday for December will be at Rose City Reader.

It is much colder here than it was in previous weeks.  No, there are no snowfalls, so there’s no reason for complaint.  But I’m very grateful for my sweaters and jackets.  And for a cozy room in which to curl up and read.

  1. Tumbleweeds looks very interesting.

I will be looking forward to your thoughts on The Tulip Eaters.

We have snow and cold here in Pennsylvania, but not unusual. Unusual for your weather, though.

    Stay warm.

    1. Yes, I’ve had Tumbleweeds for a long time, and I’ve been putting it off because of how many pages it has…(470, which is not THAT bad). But also the review books seem to shout at me, reminding me of deadlines.

Thanks for stopping by, Elizabeth, and while I love the look of snow, I’m glad that I have to drive an hour to find it here!

  2. Cozy is good right about now. It’s cold here and we’re having a bit of snow, roads are slick, so we’re enjoying staying indoors and hibernating… at least til tomorrow. 🙂 Have a good week!

  3. Your book selections are always ‘my thing’ … visiting your Monday post is dangerous to my groaning TBR piles. I’ve got The Tulip Eaters to read and Sheltering Rain is calling to me. Have a great week and happy reading 🙂

  4. Better late than never. That’s a nice cozy spot. We have the snow here with the cold. We thought this house would be easy to heat but our bedroom feels like an icebox when the wind picks up, brrrrrr!! Have a great week!!

    1. The hardest house to heat that I’ve lived in was a two-storey, with only a wood-burning stove downstairs. I lived there for 13 years! Now I’m happy for central heating…hope you stay warm, Lori, and thanks for visiting.
