**Mailbox Monday for November will be at I Totally Paused.

We managed to get through Halloween in our parts…and here’s one of my favorite “family” pumpkins, belonging to my eldest son, who lives in Berlin.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Lori…I was happy not to get any Trick or Treaters….I had none for the last six years, and lots of leftover candy. So I didn’t buy any this year. LOL

Good that there were no visitors.

      Enjoy your week!

If you’re looking for a different sort of memoir, I’m currently enjoying Relish by Lucy Knisley — a food memoir written in graphic novel format.

    Have a great week!

  3. What a great week. I have When I’m Gone.

I was thinking about getting Starter House, but I forget what changed my mind. 🙂

    1. I saw a one-star review on the Starter House product page…and it was the only review so far. But I’m not going to let that one stop me, as the reasons behind the one-star didn’t sound that solid to me. Thanks for stopping by, Elizabeth, and enjoy your week.

  4. Hi Laurel-Rain,

Another great selection of books this week, although the one which caught my eye, both for its title and the simplicity of the cover, was ‘Sea Creatures’

This is a new to me author and the reviews do seem to have been a bit mixed, but definitely one worth trying for me.

Thanks for sharing your new finds and have a good week.

  5. Looks like you had a good week, and some good reading coming up. I’m totally with you on the hello to turkey day thing- now that OCtober is over I’m totally in the Thanksgiving/ Christmas mood (it might be a little early for Christmas, but I’m going with it). 🙂 Have a great week!

    1. Yes, it could be too ambitious, as I’ve got a new obsession: watching movies and shows via Netflix, with my laptop hooked up to the TV. I spent all afternoon doing that yesterday! Thanks for visiting, Deb, and enjoy your week.
