Wow looks like you’ve had a busy week. I saw The Perks of Being a Wallflower movie, but sadly it didn’t inspire me to read the book–even though I know books are usually infinitely better than their movie counterparts. Hope you enjoy all of your book though! Happy reading!

So many books. I take them so slowly. Was into Grafton years ago, but gave up somewhere before the middle of the alphabet. Not sure why. Maybe I should revisit.

W is for Wasted looks good, I read up to L I think, and then got in a funk about them..hmm maybe i need to pick them up again. My girls loved Perks of Being a Wallflower, my youngest got a tattoo quote from it. *rolls eyes* Have a wonderful week my friend

I started reading the Sue Grafton books years ago and only got to E. I really need to go back and catch up. She’s going to be at a book signing near me this Friday, so I’m planning on going – maybe that will get me back on her books!

A Dark Mind looks interesting to me. I wish I could read Grafton’s series, but seriously, she is up to W and I would be at A, I don’t know–daunting. Could her books be read out of order–say if I jumped in at a later letter in the middle of alphabet? Just wondering. Good stack of books here this week. Will check them out further.

I have completely lost track of Grafton’s series but I loved them when I was reading. I don’t even remember how far I got. I know I wasn’t halfway. I wonder how she’ll feel after Z is published? They’ve been a part of her life for so long now! Enjoy your week!

I think she has slowed down between books to ward off that feeling…just guessing. Although she did bring out that lovely collection last year called Kinsey and Me.

As usual, you have a fantastic selection of genres and titles this week, almost too many to take in. The covers which particularly caught my eye were ‘Cold Winter Rain’ and ‘Sinnerman’ and both had equally intriguing premises to match. I am also tempted by ‘A Dark Mind’, although that one might be just a bit too dark and disturbing, even for me!
I hope that you get to enjoy them all and if you are looking for a way to cool down, a nice trip to the UK might be in order, where the weather has turned wet, stormy and distinctly autumnal this week.

I see the new Grafton book is out already and I’m stuck somewhere in the middle of the alphabet!
I was planning on reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower for banned books week. The school board at the Jr High in my neighborhood banned it (briefly) but eventually came to their senses and returned it to the library after student protests and online petitions.

It took me awhile to engage, but then I enjoyed it, Anna…but it isn’t my usual genre, and I primarily read it because of Banned Books Week…and the buzz.
