Good morning! Are you glad that it’s Sunday? Come on in, pull up a chair, and let’s chat. And welcome to Sunday Saloners, who are full of stories of their week.
I’d like to welcome all bloggers to check out my Five-Year Blogoversary over at Story Corner.
Yes, I know I mentioned it last week, but now it is underway until 4/27. I will be giving away books from my reading room.
Every month, I add more books to the stacks there…and even though I’ve hosted a bookshelf clearing event most months, there are still plenty to choose from.
Now…last week, I enjoyed some blogging, like my Tuesday Potpourri: Book Lust post.
On my Hump Day Sparks, I enthused about what I was waiting for….
And over at my group blog, Betty Dravis shared Why Are These Authors So Happy?
My Creative Journey post took me back: Spotlighting Moments Along the Way.
Thursday Potpourri revealed Bookish Surprises.
My Sweet Saturday Sample captured moments of Venturing Out (An excerpt).
Reading-Click Titles/Covers for Reviews:
Oodles of Poodles, by Linda O. Johnston (Cozies/Sequel Challenges)
Backseat Saints (e-book), by Joshilyn Jackson (Sequels Challenge)
Heart Like Mine (e-book), by Amy Hatvany
The Sugar House, by Laura Lippman (Sequels Challenge)
And today, I’m reading Drinking with Men, by Rosie Schaap (a memoir).
Yesterday, I curled up here and watched some movies:
I picked a movie from On Demand, with Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, and Dennis Quaid, among others: Playing for Keeps.
It was relaxing, predictable, etc. But fun….
What are you planning for today? I hope you’ll wander by and leave your thoughts….

Happy blogoversary…also I wanted to read Backseat Saints because I really liked Gods in Alabma but never got to it. Now maybe I will, based on your review.
Glad you liked the review, Bryan…I think I liked Backseat Saints even more than Gods in Alabama. Hope you do, too.
Congratulations on your blogoversary. It looks like you’ve had a busy week and read some interesting books. Wishing you a fun Sunday with lots of time to read.

Congratulations on your blogoversary! It amazes me that you are able to keep so many blogs going. I can barely keep up with one.
Nice review of the Hatvany book. I’ve not read her, but after your review, I’ll be keeping an eye out for her.
Thanks, Lark…and it’s hard for me to imagine it’s been five years already.
Hope you do give Hatvany a try…she has several engaging novels.
Happy Blogoversary! I’ve always been meaning to try the Tess Monaghan series – maybe I’ll start with The Sugar House.
