Welcome to another bookish Thursday, with Booking Through Thursday, where we chat about our reading, blogging, etc.
Today’s prompt:
What’s your favorite place to read? Do you have more than one? Can you read anywhere, or do you need things to be “just right?”
Bonus points for sharing a photo of your favorite spot. (grin)
***
Yes, I must admit that I do have a favorite place to read. I have “arranged” several such spots around the home, but the first choice for me is usually this long sofa that is so comfy…and has lots of pillows.
And another favorite place, usually if I’m reading and eating:
But because I might have grandchildren using the living room sofas, I have another favorite: my office has a pretty comfy couch, too.
And at the end of the day, here’s another favorite spot:
Even when I’ve found the perfect spot, I have to have a place for my favorite drinks nearby. And there have to be comfy pillows!
What about the rest of you? Do you love to curl up in one particular spot?
Oh! I love your favorite reading spots, they look so cozy and inviting. I very seldom read in bed, the old back won’t allow me to do that anymore. Therefore, I stick to my Lazy Boys, they hold and cuddle me… ; )

My bed is not the most comfy spot for long reads…and I tend to fall asleep there…so it’s my last choice of the day.
As you can see, I have the big bed pillow…and that helps a bit.
Thanks for stopping by, Gigi Ann….

Love your spots. Everything looks very cozy and homey in general, I’m envious. I just moved, so everything still looks a little blank, but I’ll be working on that. 😉
Thanks for stepping by!

Oh, I’ve been there, Caro…when I was young, I moved around a lot. That’s probably why I’m now so focused on creating my cozy nest. Thanks for visiting.

I agree, Character Connection….if we’re not comfortable reading, then we’d be in a world of hurt, wouldn’t we? Thanks for stopping by.

I’d read in your spots! ;o). I am glad I am not the only one that reads while eating (when I am alone).

Pillows and favorite drinks = perfect! The reading just goes on very smoothly. I also read while eating and since I live alone I get to do that almost all the time.

Now that the kids are grown (and they’ve been out of the house now for a few years), I’ve relished the pleasures of being alone. I longed for it when they were still here….because they kept coming back! lol
I do miss them, of course, and the grandkids come a lot. But I like deciding my own schedule and doing my own thing, and seeing people on my terms. Thanks for stopping by, Hazel.
