Good morning, Sunday Saloners! I hope you’ve all had a wonderfully productive week.
Some of us have busily joined the Bloggiesta Party. And some of us are getting ready for Banned Book Week.
My selection will be spotlighted at Rainy Days and Mondays on October 5.
It’s been one of those days today. Between the blog events, reading, and watching old movies, I’m feeling very energized.
Earlier today, I enjoyed brunch at a neighborhood restaurant.
Here’s what happened on my blogs this week:
On Monday, I shared a Potpourri of thoughts about Hobbies/Collections.
Wednesday brought a merger between two of my writing blogs. A Merger: When Two Writer’s Blogs Become One.
Old and New Guilty Pleasures celebrated pomegranates: the fruit and the martini.
On Thursday, I discovered what happens When One Event Leads to a Flurry of Activities.
My Sweet Saturday Sample was followed by my Bloggiesta Starting Post; then came Bloggiesta: Getting Personal.
Finally, my Weekend Potpourri post celebrates Blog Events, Leisure Time, & Wishing.
Reading was not so stellar: (Click Titles/Covers for reviews)
1. A Different Kind of Normal, by Cathy Lamb
2. Shepherd’s Prayer (e-book), by Katja Willemsen
3. Chalk Valley (e-book), by D. L. Johnstone (Review will be up later today)
On Monday, October 1, check out my Blog Tour Stop for Against My Will, by Benjamin Berkley.

For the rest of the day, I plan to read, watch movies, and visit more blogs at the Bloggiesta Party!
Oops! I completely forgot about Bloggiesta! I wonder if it’s too late….
Have a great week!

It has been such a busy week, i had to pass on Blogeista this time. My reading was slow too. But when there is family crisis’ that’s where all the attention must go. Hopefully things will settle down a bit soon and I can get back on schedule. lol Yeah looking at the calendar that should be sometime next Spring. 🙂

Sometimes my reading slows down…and there’s nothing I can really blame it on…lol
But that’s how it goes. Thanks for stopping by, Lori….

Yes, I am enjoying it. In the beginning, there were so many characters I felt a bit confused; but then I started to “know” them.
Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting.

So what old movies are you watching? That’s what I want to know. 🙂

Well, they weren’t “old” old…but relatively old. A Star is Born (remake), with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson; As Good as it Gets, with Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt; and About Schmidt, with Jack Nicholson and Kathy Bates.
Last night I recorded a real oldie: Anna Karenina, with Vivien Leigh.
Thanks for stopping by, Bryan.

I always feel it, too, Vasilly…what I like most about it is the sense of community. And the realization that we can do as much or as little as we can. Thanks for stopping by.

The first time I participated, I didn’t have a lot of time, but knew that I only had to do what I could. I set the goals. So that helped.
Thanks for stopping by, Alyce, and enjoy your weekend.
