Welcome to another edition of The Sunday Salon, in which we gather around our virtual reading room and share our week.
Last week was rainy, while today has brought sunshine and warmth. Not too much warmth yet, for which I am grateful.
It’s been a great week, with blogging, reading, and movie watching. Today I saw Midnight in Paris, a Woody Allen romantic comedy/fantasy production. Starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Allison Pill, Kathy Bates…et. al., this movie was light, fanciful, and held me captive until the very end…and beyond.

Today I’m enjoying The Midwife’s Confession, which I can barely put down…except to go to the movie earlier.
So far, the weekend has been fabulous, and now I’m going to read some more! Hope some of you stop by and share your own weekly news.
As always you have read some interesting books. THE VIOLETS OF MARCH sounds intriguing and I love the cover. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

The weekend is getting better now that I can just stay in and not go anywhere. Same with the wife…we’re just chillaxing this weekend.
Me? Of course, I might be reading, but not feeling any pressure to do so.

I stumbled upon it by accident last week, and then it wasn’t playing in my neighborhood mall! Which happens a lot in this conservative “big hicktown” of a city, LOL.
But it was there this week! Thanks for stopping by, Carol. This movie was awesome!

This weekend I finished reading Joyner’s Dream by Sylvia Tyson, a multi-generational family story that also centred on a journal. I really enjoyed it.
