Good morning, and welcome to The Sunday Salon, that great big virtual reading room where we all gather and share tidbits about our reading/blogging weeks.
Blogging Events:
A BIT OF ME (ME) — PEOPLE WE ADMIRE
Then, in my typical fashion, I did some more blog rearranging and merged Moonbeams & Rainbows with Stardust Dreams. My “soap magic” posts have their own page at this latter site, while the former one is…well, bye-bye!
Family Stuff:
Last night was dinner with family. Here’s a glimpse of how that went.
The meal was delicious, with grilled salmon, asparagus, black rice, and salad. And martinis, of course!
Reading Week:
This went really well. The books were eclectic, which kept me moving along. (Click the titles for the reviews)
1) Back to the Homeplace, by William Leverne Smith
3) Odd Mom Out, by Jane Porter
3) With Friends Like These, by Sally Koslow (Review up later today)
So that’s it for today! Don’t forget to come back tomorrow, to Monday Memes, to see what’s coming next.
I hope you’re all having a fabulous weekend, and that you’ll stop by and share your own experiences this week.
Sounds like you had a great dinner and reading week too 🙂 Enjoy your Sunday!

A nice week of reading for you!
I’ve only read children’s books this week, but what wonderful children’s books they were! I’d love to have you stop in at my blog:

Thanks, Mason….I had a hilarious time trying to capture them, because they would run when they saw the flash.

Aww, I have two cats who follow me round the kitchen too! 😉 (that’s a very familiar photo).
I nearly changed my blog over to this theme last month too – I love it!

Looks like some fun reads this week!
I have never had a martini – can you believe it?! I think I always associated that drink with my parent’s generation, but now that I have reached that “certain” age, I think I should give it a try. It sounds so sophisticated 🙂

Oh, I rediscovered martinis a few years ago when they turned into these very festive little drinks that were so different from the old school ones we drank back in the day!
Thanks for stopping by, Molly.

I’ve always been amazed at the amount of blogs that you juggle. Sometimes I get confused or forget which is which and it takes me a while to find the right ones via your profile page. I love that you’ve been linking directly to your posts via your comments lately.

Thanks for stopping by, Alyce…I know it’s confusing, especially since the only ones that show up on my profile page are the blogger ones.
My website has them all, though; but I am linking to the posts, as you pointed out.

Leave off the asparagus, and I’ll be round for dinner! And a martini, James Bond style 🙂
